About the Unit:
4South is one of eight telemetry units in the main hospital.4 South consists of 21 all private rooms. Nurses provide intermediate-level care for adult and geriatric patients with a variety of different medical diagnoses.The unit provides high-level, fast-paced, patient and family centered care.New Graduate Nurses welcome.
Job Duties:
The Telemetry Nurse assesses and identifies patient needs and implements appropriate interventions.The Nurse establishes and maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care; assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems; and performs technical aspects of care competently. Vascular Telemetry nurses must have strong critical thinking skills.The nurse acts as a family and patient resource to guide them through all stages of the patient’s healthcare journey.
