In this role as a Telemetry Field Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and availability of Severn Trent’s 7,000 telemetry outstations, which serve as the ‘eyes and ears’ of the company’s operational assets.
A covering letter for this role would be advisable confirming you have the qualifications needed or equivalent
For this role you must have an Electrical NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
These outstations are critical to the performance of Severn Trent’s operational ODIs and enable the Operational Control Centres to effectively respond to asset failure alarms. Your primary objective will be to complete any necessary field work to ensure that the entire outstation estate remains fully operational and available 100% of the time.

In order to be successful in this role it is expected that you will have excellent fault finding skills along with prior knowledge of telemetry outstation.
It would be good be if you have worked with WITS compliant devices along with IP enabled devices.
