About Discovery Insure’s Telematics Team
Discovery Insure core purpose is to create a nation of great drivers. It enables this through discovery’s shard value model which leverages telematics to encourage clients to drive well through a rich set of rewards. The Telematics team within Discovery Insure is responsible for managing and innovating on our core telematics offerings and solutions which currently spans across M2M hard wired devices and our smartphone-based telematics offering.
The team consist of a number of engineers spanning various disciplines from cloud skillsets, develops, mobile, hardware/firmware and IoT and Data science leveraging a number of technologies.
The team is encouraged to continuously learn and evolve with changing technology trends and to cross skill between the various disciplines.
Key Purpose
To build on our current telematics reporting platform and enhance the features running with technical projects from end to end including design and implementation of the solutions. You will also be required to analyse large amounts of data to find key business value and insights.
