Telecom Supervisor (Fiber)
The Supervisor, Telecom (Fiber) leads a high-performing Fiber Operations team supporting Fiber-to-Distribution, Long-Haul, and Legacy Fiber networks. This role directs approximately 12 Telecom Electricians and 2 Telecom Analysts, driving operational excellence across fiber construction, maintenance, restoration, and performance optimization.
You will actively lead fiber operations, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and align technical execution with business strategy. Success in this role requires a strong balance of leadership, technical expertise, and operational discipline to ensure reliable, scalable, and resilient fiber infrastructure supporting critical business functions 24/7/365.
This position is critical to ensuring reliability, performance, and rapid restoration of fiber infrastructure that supports essential business operations. You will directly impact uptime, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency across the organization.
Job Requirements:
Performance management and review processes for direct reports.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree is not required, but preference will be given to candidates with a four-year degree or nearing completion of a four-year degree program in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
Experience Requirements:
Experience collaborating with and supporting hyperscalers (e.g., Amazon, Google, Meta, Oracle, etc.).
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Deep understanding of fiber construction, maintenance standards, and operational best practices.
