Overview

A leading provider of wireless communications, data, and security solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a growing In-Building Wireless Solutions (IWS) team.

This role will manage projects for customers requiring in-building communication solutions across a variety of environments, including universities, municipalities, sports venues, and other large public facilities. The Project Manager will take ownership of projects following the design and sales phase, overseeing execution from construction and installation through integration and project completion.

The position is approximately 75% office-based and 25% field-based, with a combination of in-office, remote, and on-site work.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing tasks for project teams, vendors, and contractors.
• Coordinate project execution to ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Establish project timelines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress against key milestones.
• Conduct site visits to inspect project progress, quality, and workmanship.
• Perform site surveys and quality control reviews alongside construction teams.
• Track project status and provide regular reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, financial forecasting, invoicing, and revenue tracking.
• Identify project risks and provide solutions to resolve issues and escalations.
• Oversee subcontractor selection, coordination, and performance.
• Maintain effective communication with internal teams, customers, and external partners.
• Set and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Apply project management best practices and PMBOK principles to support successful project delivery.
• Support process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience within the telecommunications industry.
• Experience managing projects from construction through integration and completion.
• Proven ability to create, track, and report on project milestones and deliverables.
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and project reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with In-Building Wireless (IBW), iDAS, or related wireless infrastructure projects.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Public safety communications systems
• Cellular infrastructure
• Military communications
• Civil infrastructure construction
• Understanding of two-way radio, microwave, and cellular communication systems.
• Familiarity with public safety organizations, including police, fire, and emergency medical services.
• PMP certification or active pursuit of PMP certification.
• Previous hands-on experience as a technician or engineer.
• DAS/IBW experience is highly preferred.

Top Skills

1. 3+ years of project management experience within the telecommunications industry, with wireless or iDAS experience strongly preferred.
2. Strong experience tracking, managing, and reporting project milestones throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across internal and external teams.

Note: The primary focus of this role is managing projects from the construction phase through integration and final delivery.

• Hybrid work schedule consisting of office, remote, and on-site responsibilities.
• Regular interaction with customers, internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Field visits required to support project execution, inspections, and quality assurance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $46.00/hr.
