Introduction to the Role
We are looking for an experienced Telecom Project Manager to lead the development, planning, and execution of telecom operations and project activities within an oil & gas environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, operational management, and coordination across teams — ensuring high-quality results aligned with business objectives, safety standards, and client expectations.
You will act as a key leader driving both operational excellence and structured project management across all phases.
What will you do?
- Lead telecom operations and manage project execution across all lifecycle phases (initiation to closure)
- Support Line Manager in overall department management
- Coordinate activities across departments, stakeholders, and clients
- Manage daily operations including staffing, scheduling, and performance tracking
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of technical staff
- Develop and maintain training programs and competency frameworks
- Supervise preparation of project documentation (MoS, WP, FAT, SAT, BOM, drawings)
- Plan and manage project resources, budgets, and timelines
- Prepare key project artifacts (schedule, cost plan, procurement plan, WBS, risk plan, communication plan)
- Monitor project performance and ensure delivery on time, within scope and budget
- Manage procurement, vendor coordination, and logistics processes
- Identify risks and report on project progress and forecasts
- Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and audit requirements
- Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives
Who are we looking for?

Must-have
Hard skills:
- Degree in Telecommunications or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Oil & Gas engineering sector in a managerial role
- Strong understanding of telecom systems and infrastructure
- Proven project management experience across full lifecycle
- Experience in remote team management
- Strong knowledge of business processes, budgeting, and reporting
- Experience in training development and delivery
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Knowledge of procurement and vendor management processes
