Job Description

We have an immediate opening for an associate with 3-5 years of transactional and litigation experience in telecommunications law, including appellate matters. Our clients are mainly local governments, schools and public agencies in their roles as regulators, infrastructure owners and market participants. Position involves working closely with clients to: research and write briefs before lower courts and courts of appeal; prepare and file comments with the Federal Communications Commission; develop policy papers and positions on communications issues affecting local governments; draft ordinances governing use of rights of way and governing land use by communications providers (including wireless facilities providers); and draft agreements and franchises with communications and cable companies. Location is open, but the candidate must be licensed to practice in California.
