Job Purpose or Objective(s): Support low voltage Choctaw Nation cabling standards and installations for Telcom connectivity including non-VoIP phones systems like Nortel including Carrier circuits, and POT’s lines. You will report to the Director of Network Services.
Primary Tasks:
1. You will pull fiber and copper cables in different environments.
2. Terminate both copper and fiber cables.
3. Lead in the installation of Telecom projects and tasks
4. Install and support Nortel phones systems.
5. Work with Carriers and other third-party vendors supporting Telecom.
6. Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED
· No college degree or technical Certifications
· 3+ years of Telecom experiences with installing and troubleshooting fiber and copper cabling.
· Prefer 2+ years working on/with phone systems like Nortel.
· Work on a ladder while pulling cable.
· Physical ability to walk, stand, drive 3 hours, and carry 75lbs.
