
Title: Program Instructor (Impact Lead II-Gonzales Teen Innovation Center)-Part Time
Work Schedule: Part-time, non- exempt; generally scheduled 30 hours a week, Monday – Friday between 8:00 am-7:00 pm with occasional evenings and weekends for field trips and special events.
Reports to: Site Supervisor, GTIC

Under the direction of the Site Supervisor, GTIC, the GTIC Impact Lead II will support youth success through outstanding, Mission-driven and integrity-centered leadership. S/he accomplishes this by engaging, age-appropriate and outcome-driven programs serving youth ages 11-18. Support youth to ultimately achieve on-time grade progression, high school graduation, college/postsecondary readiness and education leading to a livable wage career, healthy lifestyle and engaged citizenship. This position involves flexible hours due to occasional programming at school sites and after school programming at the GTIC. This position requires a high level of community relations with school administrators and city officials. The GTIC Impact Lead II’s primary work location is the Boys & Girls Club administrative office in Salinas and the GTIC.

Compensation:
Salary range is $22.03 to $23.15 per hour, and is based on experience. Paid benefits package at Impact Leader II level consisting of accrual of up to 30 hours paid vacation, 30 hours paid sick leave, plus 40 hours of paid California Healthy Workplace Healthy Family sick leave, medical, vision, dental, life and disability insurance, pension and 403(b) plan investment options. Professional development opportunities are available contingent upon funding and approval. This position is classified as non-exempt and as such is eligible for the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
