Hitachi Rail is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Materials Management Technician who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable performing a wide range of tasks, from administration to strategy. The position is based in Milano, Italy.

With reference to activities on highly complex projects/tenders, or on medium/low complexity international projects/tenders:
· Ensure the issuance of an estimate of total external costs for highly complex tenders.
· Plan and forecast external costs (materials, services, packages, subcontractors) during the project execution phase in collaboration with the cost control office.
· Provide all supply chain inputs necessary to define and issue the integrated project plan.
· Issue and distribute planning and logistics documents (Logistics Plan, MPS, Inventory Report, etc.) to project teams.
· Coordinate all planning and logistics activities between legal entities involved in the project to ensure delivery of project materials (including spare parts and repair of failed materials) in line with project requirements.
· Manage production launch activities (transfer orders, purchase orders, advance demand, etc.) in line with project planning.
· Issue purchase requests for all materials, external services, packages, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.
· Ensure issuance of supplier logistics and supply planning documentation in line with contractual requirements (Performance Guarantee, Transport Plan, Procurement Plan, Manufacturing Plan, etc.).
· Monitor and report supplier performance (including logistics suppliers) in terms of production, FAT, delivery times, shipping, warehouse management, and compliance with contractual requirements.
· Identify and implement mitigation actions in case of risks or misalignments with supplier performance (e.g. delays in FAT or deliveries).
· Minimum experience (1-2 years) in Supply Chain

· Vendor rating and supplier monitoring
· Technical and technological knowledge
· Risk management
· Continuous improvement
· Documentation management, MPS-MRP techniques
· Cost control and budgeting basics
· Logistics and warehouse management
· Knowledge of organisation and business processes
· Degree in Management Engineering (or equivalent)
· English language proficiency: minimum B2 level

Proponiamo una retribuzione annua lorda compresa tra 33.000 € e 38.000 €.
