Job Description

Position:
Technology Support Paraprofessional (Normandale Hills Elementary & New Code Academy)


Effective Date:
ASAP

Hours:
8.0 hour per day
5 days per week
195 days - 10 months

Salary:
Class III ranging from $23.06 - $27.15 per hour
*Wage placement based on similar experience

This Tech Support Para will serve as the primary tech for an elementary school. as well as NCA an online-school

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma
  • 60 credits of post-secondary education or a passing score on the Para Pro Exam


Required Experience:

  • Advanced knowledge of technology equipment
  • Advanced customer service skills
  • Ability to independently prioritize and execute tasks in a timely manner
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
  • Ability to manage and maintain a variety of schedules
  • Ability to problem solve technology related issues
  • Ability to maintain accurate account records
  • Social perceptiveness and strong people skills


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair building technology equipment
  • Provide technology related customer service and troubleshooting support
  • Manage building tech inventory and follow district technology standards and practices
  • General Para duties as assigned -
    • Webmaster
    • AM/PM Bus duty
    • Occasional lunch/recess duty
  • Other duties as assigned
