About the role

As a Technology Support Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the Tennis Australia (TA) IT & Digital systems by providing timely technical assistance to our customers, especially during our Summer of Tennis and the Australian Open. This is a full-time contract role.

In this role you will:

  • Handle tickets and general Service Desk responsibilities, which include providing effective support to Tennis Australia, Member Associations, Australian Open and other Tournament Staff, across hardware and all internal and external applications.
  • Ensure that all requests/incidents raised are recorded correctly and acted on in a timely manner according to pre-agreed KPIs / SLAs
  • Create and update high quality, accurate internal Service Desk support documents
  • Manage and maintain technical equipment for Tennis Australia staff, including decommissioning defective hardware, equipment recovery, and configuring devices as required.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A proven ability to balance strong customer service with practical technical troubleshooting skills.
  • 2-3 years of experience supporting end users in a technical support or IT helpdesk role.
  • Solid working knowledge of M365, Azure Identity Management, and SharePoint.
  • Completion of recognised IT training (e.g., networking fundamentals, IT support coursework,..)
  • Competence with Windows 10/11, Apple products, and modern smartphones.
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
