The Cloud Operations function is part of the Technology Services group. The function ensures the integration across IR’s primary service components, systems, cloud services and data centres, and works with our business stakeholders and key suppliers to ensure that all our technical services operate efficiently and effectively.
You will enable our customers and people to use our Cloud Operations services effectively, by ensuring core tax and policy Infrastructure services are designed, built, deployed and operated safely and securely. You will ensure these services are effectively integrated with our private cloud, public cloud and managed cloud services.

You will be a strong technology specialist who excels at both analytical and system thinking and have in-depth knowledge of the end-to-end service lifecycle. You will have a high level of understanding and credibility within an operational ICT environment encompassing different technologies. You are a natural problem-solver and can comfortably advise both the business and technical support teams on complex technical issues that may arise, ensuring that risks are identified and mitigated. You will be highly organised and focussed on results to achieve optimal results for the organisation.
