The Technology Specialist – Azure is a Data Engineer in the Connected Brewery Data Platform product team, responsible for designing, building, and operating real-time and batch data flows. The role requires driving solutions in multiple analytics use cases and projects, ensuring a reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient data platform.
Your responsibilities would include:
building and operating ingestion and transformation pipelines using Azure services
automating deployments, monitoring and alerting using Azure DevOps
collaborating with solution architects to ensure alignment with Heineken’s standards and best practices (i.e. quality, architecture, compliance & security)
taking ownership of issues from diagnosis to resolution, driving continuous improvement.
You are a good candidate if you have:
solid background in Azure event-driven services (Event Hubs, Event Grid, Functions, Logic Apps)
hands-on with data lakes and pipelines (Databricks, ADF, Synapse)
knowledge of governance frameworks and tools (Unity Catalog, RLS, data contracts, observability tools)
experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), and integration with analytics layers (e.g PowerBI)
strong problem ownership and analytical judgement
ability to collaborate across cultures and communicate technical concepts
proactive, ownership-driven mindset, able to support, and drive priorities
