In accordance with Colorado State law, Tryg discloses wage information for roles that may be performed within the state of Colorado. The anticipated base pay for the Tech Solutions Program Manager is $100,000-$150,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
Job Overview
The Technology Solutions Program Manager leads innovative electrical projects from concept to completion, focusing on specification, design, engineering, consulting, peer review, and construction management. This role ensures energy efficiency, power quality, and operational effectiveness in critical facilities across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership & Execution
- Lead and manage electrical technology projects from initiation through commissioning.
- Ensure project safety and compliance with all regulations.
- Maintain open communication with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- Develop detailed project schedules and manage timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
- Facilitate weekly subcontractor and Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) meetings.
- Coordinate permitting processes and jurisdictional requirements.
- Oversee submittals, approvals, and procurement of materials.
- Manage project turnover, budget development, and change order tracking.
- Ensure proper job setup with the superintendent, including site maps and information sheets.
- Collaborate with accounting to initiate job numbers and track costs.
- Establish and manage labor cost codes and budgets.
- Perform monthly cost-to-complete analysis and attend financial review meetings.
- Verify subcontractor invoices and maintain accurate job costing.
- Estimate and negotiate change orders with clients and maintain change logs.
- Quality & Safety Oversight
- Conduct job walks to ensure safety compliance and installation standards.
- Hold subcontractors accountable for PPE usage, site cleanliness, and productivity.
- Take ultimate responsibility for site safety audits and corrective actions.
Client Relationship Management & Sales
- Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and follow-through.
- Resolve project issues and escalate concerns to upper management when necessary.
- Review project scope and progress with clients weekly.
- Participate in project closeout meetings and provide required documentation:
- O&M manuals, Warranty letters, Spare parts, Insurance documents, As-built drawings, Systems training
- Nudge existing clients for additional up sales
- Work with sales team to bring on new clients and projects
Team Development & Leadership
- Train and mentor project managers and field staff.
- Identify and support future leaders within the organization.
- Promote teamwork and collaboration across departments.

QualificationsExperience, Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience managing electrical or technology-focused construction projects.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
- Proficiency in Viewpoint Team/Spectrum.
- Estimating and change management expertise.
- Conflict resolution and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Certifications
Candidates with the following certifications are given priority:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are a plus.

- Experienced in change management and guiding teams through transitions
- Highly organized with strong prioritization skills to manage competing demands
Working Conditions & Physical Demands

- This position has a variety of environments the person must adapt to including, construction sites with varied weather and terrain and/or general office setting using standard equipment (computers, calculators, phones)
- Exposure to outdoor environments in all weather conditions; early mornings and extended hours may be required based on project needs
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions while managing multiple tasks
- Capable of reading written communications and monochrome computer screens for extended periods
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
- Position location is remote/hybrid
- Ability to bend at the knee, walk and/or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to sit in any class airline seat for flights up to 8 hours
- Possess a valid driver’s license and ability to rent a car.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, and navigate active job sites safely
