The Opportunity

This is an exciting new role within MWI's growing technology division, reporting directly to the National Technology Manager. As Technology Manager, you will work alongside Territory Managers and Strategic Account Managers to identify, develop, and close technology opportunities across the UK veterinary market. You will be the face of Merlin Practice Management System and MWI's wider technology portfolio— building relationships with practices, attending industry events, and delivering compelling technology demonstrations.

What You'll Do

· Deliver agreed sales, revenue, and gross profit targets for Practice Technology

· Support the sale and account management of Merlin PMS and MWI technology solutions

· Work alongside TMs and SAMs to identify and progress technology opportunities

· Participate in customer conversations, supporting the delivery of technology-led solutions

· Build your own target list of prospective practices within your territory

· Represent MWI at industry events, trade shows, and Community Days

· Maintain accurate CRM data and structured call planning

· Shadow and learn from the National Technology Manager during your first 90 days

What We're Looking For

Essential:

· Experience in B2B sales or account management, ideally within SaaS, technology, or a field-based environment

· Confident communicator, capable of engaging with a range of stakeholders

· Commercially aware with a strong desire to develop financial and consultative sales skills

· Full UK driving licence

· Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based role

Desirable:

· Experience in healthcare, veterinary, or life sciences — either in a commercial or practice setting

· Familiarity with Practice Management Systems (e.g. Merlin) — even as a user within a veterinary practice

· Exposure to SaaS or technology-led solution selling

· Knowledge of IT environments — networks, hardware, and software systems
