WPP Enterprise Technology provides technology services for WPP, the world’s leading creative transformation company. Within Enterprise Technology, Cyber, Risk & Compliance (CRC) plays a key role in strengthening operational resilience, governance, risk management and control effectiveness across a global technology estate. This is an exciting time to join CRC as we continue to modernise our operating model, increase automation, embrace AI-enabled ways of working and build new capabilities that help WPP move faster, more securely and with greater confidence.

The Technology Resilience Manager will be responsible for developing, coordinating and continuously improving Enterprise Technology resilience capabilities, ensuring critical technology services can withstand, respond to and recover from disruption. The role will support disaster recovery, operational resilience, recovery testing, continuity planning, resilience governance and UKCGC Provision 29-related activities whilst promoting automation, data-driven insight and AI-enabled operating practices.

What you'll be doing:

• Coordinate the Enterprise Technology resilience framework, standards and operating processes.
• Maintain disaster recovery plans, recovery strategies, dependency maps and resilience documentation.
• Coordinate technology recovery testing, simulation exercises and recovery validation activities.
• Support Operational Resilience and UKCGC Provision 29 initiatives across Enterprise Technology.
• Facilitate scenario exercises, tabletop simulations and crisis preparedness activities for Enterprise Technology.
• Track resilience findings, remediation plans and improvement actions.
• Design resilience dashboards, metrics and management reporting.
• Leverage automation, workflow tooling, analytics and agentic AI to improve resilience management and reporting.
• Partner with Enterprise Security, Technology Assurance, Infrastructure, Cloud, Service Operations and Business teams to improve recovery readiness.
• Monitor emerging resilience risks, technologies and industry practices and recommend improvements.

What you'll need:

Skills & Experience
• Experience in Technology Resilience, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Technology Operations or Technology Risk.
• Understanding of security, cloud, infrastructure, identity, networking and service management environments.
• Experience coordinating recovery testing and resilience exercises.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Experience with reporting, workflow tooling, GRC platforms or automation technologies.
• Interest in AI-enabled operational improvement and modern resilience practices.
• Ability to operate independently within a global environment.
Desirable Qualifications: CBCI, MBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CRISC, CISA, or other equivalent professional experience.
