EDUCATION
• Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
CERTIFICATIONS
• PMP certification preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE
• Technology program management experience in large, cross-organizational projects, prioritizing competing demands, scoping large efforts, and negotiating timelines
• Strong experience within a technology organization in the banking or financial services industries. Regulatory reporting domain exposure a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and diverse projects and initiatives including analytical thinking, planning, prioritizing, problem solving, decision-making, and carrying out assigned projects and activities with minimal supervision
• Successfully managed large scale and complex initiatives independently, from start to finish, with a duration of at least 6 months
• Prior business analyst experience and/or operational expertise preferred
• Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools preferred
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
• Understands the business, industry, and the role IT places in driving financial success
• Proficient with SDLC project and process management tools and methodologies
• Proficient in process and data modeling, architectural development methodologies, and IT planning methodologies; extensive knowledge of the enterprise's business and decision-making processes

• Previous experience delivering complex data-driven solutions on regulatory reporting applications such as OneSumX, Lombard Regulatory Reporter and Axiom

RESPONSIBILITIES
High Level Responsibilities:
• Lead teams to support projects on implementation issues. Develop and execute review sessions for high-impact projects. Develop descriptions for project justification, plans, roles, responsibilities and reporting structure.
• Providing training and consulting for project managers and administrators. Providing technical and analytical guidance to project teams. Setting frequency and type of interactions, extent of involvement for stakeholders and developing a dispute resolution process.
• Monitoring the effectiveness of project management methodology and tools; recommending improvements to these, as appropriate. Ensures effective communication flow among business process owners, project team members and all IT functions who participate and impact the results of the project development effort.
• Implementing enhancements and upgrading project management process and tools. Develops proposals, work plans, training plans, budgets and reports of IT projects.

• Organize and provide oversight on required reporting for business and technology management review sessions
• Track financials related to technology expenditures including software, hardware, and resource allocation
• Ensure the capital investment of the firm is managed efficiently; manage project budget to ensure maximum allotments are not exceeded
• Manage stakeholders and customers
• Negotiate business and IT resources for project allocation
• Negotiate vendor proposals and manages vendor relationships
