Job Description

Wolters Kluwer ELM Solutions is a business unit under Legal & regulatory division of Wolters Kluwer, specializing in Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) software and services for legal department and law firm management. Their offerings include legal spend management, helping organizations control expenses through detailed tracking and analysis. Matter management tools are provided to efficiently handle legal cases and coordinate with various teams. They also offer contract management solutions, aiding in the creation and storage of legal contracts. Advanced data analytics and reporting capabilities are integral to their products, enabling legal departments to derive actionable insights. Their solutions are designed to streamline workflows, ensure compliance, and automate routine tasks, thereby enhancing the operational effectiveness of legal teams.

We are looking for someone highly motivated to drive AI-powered product innovation and ensure real-world impact of intelligent solutions. This role sits at the intersection of AI, product, domain, and customer engagement, with a strong focus on operationalizing AI/GenAI solutions, validating output, and supporting go-to-market efforts.

You will work closely with product managers, domain experts, sales teams, AI and engineering teams to translate business problems into intelligent workflows, support rapid experimentation, and ensure solutions like LegalVIEW BillAnalyzer deliver high-quality, scalable outcomes.

  • This is an individual contributor role.

  • This is a hybrid role, 2 days a week out of Liberty St. office in New York.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Product Intelligence & AI Enablement

  • Translate product and business needs into AI-driven insights and intelligent workflows

  • Act as a bridge between product, domain experts, AI Center of Excellence, Engineering and customer-facing teams

  • Support adoption and continuous improvement of AI-powered product capabilities

AI Prototyping & Experimentation

  • Collaborate with Product Management, UX/CX and Engineering teams to prototype and validate GenAI/ML solutions

  • Participate in experimentation cycles (LLMs, RAG, NLP, predictive models)

  • Provide structured feedback to refine models and improve output quality

LegalVIEW® BillAnalyzer (LBA) - Core Responsibility

  • Lead validation, review, and tuning of outputs from LBA AI solution

  • Identify gaps, edge cases, and inconsistencies in invoice analysis

  • Collaborate with Domain Experts and AI Operations teams to improve accuracy, reasoning, and compliance alignment

  • Drive continuous feedback loops to enhance model performance

  • Review and contribute to AI addendum sections within LBA, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with product capabilities

  • Provide hands-on support for LBA customers with data residency and compliance requirements, ensuring solutions are implemented within these constraints

Customer & Go-To-Market Support

  • Partner with Sales, Product Managers, and SMEs to respond to customer queries and solution deep-dives

  • Support and participate in pre-sales demos, showcasing AI capabilities and product value

  • Help translate AI functionality into clear customer-facing narratives and use cases

  • Support compliance, transparency, and responsible AI usage in customer-facing documentation

  • Collaborate with Sales and legal teams to ensure AI features are correctly represented

Model Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, relevance, and business impact

  • Define and track success metrics and performance indicators

  • Drive improvements in agentic workflows and decision quality

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with product, engineering, domain experts, sales, and operations teams

  • Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders

  • Support training, documentation, and adoption of AI-driven solution

Other Duties

  • Proactively pursues professional development activities

  • Manages time and company resources appropriately

  • Performs other duties as requested by his/her supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, data/analytics, or product management., or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in AI/ML products, analytics, or product-facing roles.

  • Experience in legal billing, invoice review, or compliance domains is a strong plus.

  • Exposure to enterprise AI/GenAI solutions preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of AI/GenAI concepts (LLMs, RAG, NLP, ML) in applied settings.

  • Experience working with AI/ML-driven products or analytics workflows.

  • Ability to evaluate outputs and identify patterns, risks, and improvement areas.

  • Strong communication skills, especially in customer-facing and cross-functional settings.

  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, or data tools (working knowledge preferred).

  • High attention to detail with strong problem-solving ability.

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment.

Compensation:

$82,700.00 - $141,650.00 USDThis role is eligible for Bonus.

Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
