Finning Canada is seeking a high-impact, forward-thinking Technology Product Manager to lead the strategy, growth, and commercialization of Caterpillar (CAT) Product Link technology and Visionlink platform across Construction, Resources, and Power and Energy.
In this role, you will own and execute industry-leading go-to-market (GTM) strategies, partnering with leaders across Sales, Service, Supply Chain, Pricing, and Marketing to bring innovative, commercially viable solutions to market. You will play a pivotal role in accelerating product growth, expanding, and strengthening our competitive position.
As a key strategic partner, you will also act as a liaison with Caterpillar’s Digital teams, ensuring alignment and maximizing value across the ecosystem.

We’re looking for a business-focusedproduct leader preferably withexperience in Caterpillar (CAT) Product Link technology—not traditional IT program management.
The ideal candidate brings practical expertise in leveraging connectivity solutions across Mining, Construction, and Power Systems, with a focus on:
Equipment performance optimization
Operational efficiency
Data-driven decision-making
Asset health
What You’ll Do:
Lead Strategy & Drive Alignment
Champion product strategy
Partner cross-functionally to ensure strong alignment and execution of business priorities
Collaborate with external partners, including Caterpillar and key suppliers, to optimize vendor performance and strengthen market positioning
Leverage data insights and customer feedback to anticipate trends and proactively shape strategy
Own long-term product forecasts, and stocking strategy
Own Product & Program Performance
Drive business development and commercialization
Enable the sales organization through training, tools, and compelling product positioning
Influence product development, enhancements, and solution design
Enable Sales & Unlock Opportunities
Partner with sales teams to activate tailored solutions that win in competitive markets
Identify and develop new opportunities through pipeline analysis and market intelligence
Maintain strong engagement with frontline sales teams to optimize commercialization efforts
Collaborate across business lines to deliver customer-centric, value-driven solutions
What You Bring:
Experience & Education
5+ years of experience in product management, sales, or related roles
Proven track record of influencing strategy and driving business results
Post-secondary education in Commerce or a related field
Experience in industrial, heavy equipment, or technical product environments is an asset
