Job Description

We are looking for a passionate technology professional to provide technical support to both colleagues and guests in areas such as computers, TV services, internet and Wi-Fi connectivity, network services, various hotel systems and applications. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong interpersonal skills, adaptable to changing situations, and flexible with work schedules.

Key Accountabilities

• Install, maintain, monitor and troubleshoot Extra Low Voltage (ELV) system and devices in guest rooms, including TVs, telephones, doorbells, wall panels, speakers and their connectivity to backend servers
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for issues related to guest device connectivity to the internet and TV. Monitor the Wi‑Fi access points, internet lines and coordinate with external vendors as necessary.
• Maintain and monitor Saflok locksets, including their operational status and connectivity to the server in guest rooms and elevators.
• Install, configure, maintain and ensure that desktop computers, laptops, servers, POS workstations, printers, and mobile devices are updated with the latest software patches and antivirus protection.
• Maintain and update the inventory of ELV equipment, including TVs, computers, laptops and other assigned technology assets. Record the activities including troubleshooting in the IT Helpdesk system and IT Logbook.

General Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting, Microsoft Office applications and internet connectivity.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a hotel environment or related to customer support/service role.
• Ability to communicate effectively with users at all levels using non-technical language.
• Self-motivated, confident, flexible, possesses strong problem-solving skills.
