The Technology Liaison / Administrator serves as the central point of coordination for the firm’s day-to-day technology needs. Based in New York City, this role works closely with IT, Accounting, Compliance, employees, and external vendors to help ensure technology processes are organized, secure, well-documented, and aligned with the firm’s policies and regulatory requirements.

This role coordinates employee technology onboarding and offboarding, manages technology vendor documentation and renewals, maintains policies and procedures, and oversees recurring technology testing activities. The Technology Liaison / Administrator also serves as the primary point of contact for internal technology requests, ensuring issues are directed to the appropriate resources, tracked through resolution, and clearly communicated to employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with IT, Accounting, and Compliance to support employee onboarding, including account provisioning, system access, and equipment setup.
  • Manage technology-related offboarding activities, ensuring accounts are deactivated, equipment is recovered, and system and vendor access is revoked in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate onboarding and offboarding checklists and records to support audit and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of technology vendors, including key contacts and escalation paths.
  • Track vendor agreements, renewals, and related addendums, ensuring records remain current and organized.
  • Collect, review, and retain vendor SOC reports where applicable and coordinate follow-up on identified findings or exceptions.
  • Establish, maintain, and update technology-related policies, procedures, and supporting documentation.
  • Support Compliance with technology-related documentation requests during audits and regulatory examinations.
  • Coordinate and execute required daily, monthly, and quarterly testing activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Administer phishing testing campaigns, track results, and coordinate follow-up training when needed.
  • Document testing results and escalate identified issues to IT and Compliance as appropriate.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal technology requests, coordinating with IT and external vendors and tracking issues through resolution.
  • Communicate technology changes, outages, system updates, and other relevant information to affected employees.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experience in technology administration, IT coordination, or a similar technology liaison role.
  • Familiarity with employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including system access management.
  • Experience coordinating with internal technology teams and external service providers.
  • Experience with vendor management, including agreement and renewal tracking; familiarity with SOC report review is preferred.
  • Understanding of technology policies, procedures, testing, and documentation practices.
  • Experience in a regulated or compliance-driven environment is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.
  • Ability to independently manage recurring schedules, deadlines, documentation, and follow-up activities.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information.
