Fortune 250 company seeking future business leaders to help foster growth, efficiency and innovation as a Technology Leadership Development Associate (LDA). Leadership Development Associates participate in a 18-month program aimed at developing the skills of future business leaders within the Technology organization. The Technology LDA creates innovative applications, processes, and tools that support business needs and enable business growth. LDAs serve as key members of product and software engineering teams to discover business opportunities which lead to the design, development, and sustainability of high quality software. The LDA will work in a full-time position in CSX Technology while also participating in a structured orientation and career development program to increase their knowledge of CSX and the railroad industry.
The Leadership Development Program will provide opportunities for the associate to learn fundamental concepts of the railroad industry, visit field locations, meet CSX leadership, and work with other associates in the program.
Please Note: The CSX Leadership Development Program is scheduled to begin in June 2026.
Primary Activities and Responsibilities:
Leadership Development Professionals will be placed with a technology team based on their skills, aspirations, and active company initiatives. An LDA may work with one or more teams including: Applications Development, Product Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Science & Analytics, Cybersecurity, Agile Delivery, Enterprise Engineering (including Mobility, DevOps, and Cloud), User Experience, IT Operations, Integrations/API, Project Management, Robotics/Drones, and Service Support.
Regardless of team placement, all technology LDAs play an important role in advancing and delivering Technology initiatives. The expectations of these compensated positions include but are not limited to:

This role offers an annual salary range based on experience and qualifications. In addition to base salary we provide an annual bonus opportunity.
