JOB CLASSIFICATION: FULL-TIME

LOCATION: Aledo, Texas

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Technology Installer is responsible for installing wireless and Bluetooth-enabled smart devices at multi-dwelling unit (MDU) properties. Installations may include thermostats, smart deadbolts, and other connected technologies designed to modernize and enhance property operations. This position requires safe and professional use of hand and power tools, attention to detail, and the ability to support installation projects as directed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Install wireless, Bluetooth-enabled, and other smart devices at MDU properties in accordance with project requirements.
• Use customary hand and power tools, including drills, to perform installation duties safely and efficiently.
• Handle and install connectors, fasteners, wiring, and related installation materials.
• Maintain an organized work area and perform job-site clean-up as work is completed.
• Remove and properly handle replaced or salvaged materials as directed.
• Provide general assistance to team members and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a professional presence while working at customer and property locations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous installation, low-voltage, telecommunications, maintenance, or related hands-on experience is preferred.
• Ability to safely and effectively use common hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and maintain attention to detail.
• Candidates must successfully complete required pre-employment drug screening and background check.

EDUCATION & LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

LANGUAGE / MATHEMATICAL SKILLS & REASONING ABILITY

• Must be able to communicate effectively in written and verbal English.
• Must possess the ability to understand instructions, identify problems, and apply sound judgment in the field.

REASONING ABILITY & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to work aloft and perform aerial telecommunications construction duties.
• Must have manual dexterity and the ability to safely utilize various hand tools and test equipment.
• Must be able to drive a truck or van, including vehicles equipped with an aerial lift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to use a computer and smartphone to read, update, and communicate information from construction prints.
• Must be able to kneel, crawl, push, pull, bend, stoop, lift, and dig.
• Must meet and maintain the Company’s safe weight policy.
