Job Description

Technology Engagement Officer.

Salary: £39,500 per annum.

Location: Remote. Must be based in the UK.

Contract: Fixed Term Contract for 12 months covering Maternity leave, 35 hours per week.

How you'll help to create brighter futures

  • Develop and maintain the Technology Stakeholder Engagement Plan.

  • Support the content development for digital platforms and internal channels.

  • Promoting Technology functions offerings which will help the commerciality and efficiency of the charity.

  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Maintaining up-to-date awareness of industry and technology trends.

  • Managing timelines, deliverables, and workflows to ensure smooth execution of communications and engagement initiatives.

  • Be an advocate for the whole Technology Directorate building its profile and influence and help foster a culture of technological empowerment within Action for Children.

Let's talk about you

  • Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating a clear understanding of technology and business strategy.

  • Highly established stakeholder management skills.

  • Demonstrable written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to take on challenging projects across various business areas in a large, complex organisation.

  • Experience in content development and internal communications.

  • Excellent attention to detail and proof-reading.

  • Evidence of building trust to influence those beyond their immediate sphere of control.

  • Delivery internal workshops and ad-hoc 1:1’s to obtain information and insight to improve service delivery and knowledge sharing.
