Technology Delivery Engineer
As we open more MECCA stores, strengthen our online presence and continue to enable our customers to look and feel their best, we have an excitingnewly createdopportunity for aTechnology Delivery Engineerto joinour growing IT team at MECCA, for a Fixed Term Contract Until late May 2028.
The role you could play:
Reporting to theTechnologyManager- Retail,youwill support the delivery ofnew technologyhardwareinto ourmany retail storesacross Australia and New Zealand
AsMECCA continues to grow and expand its store presence, you will manage new store rollouts from planning the requirements, liaising with vendors, and traveling interstateand/or overseasto ensure a smooth installation.You will also have the opportunity to work alongside ourevents team,managing their technical requirements for events andpop-upstores.To help supportourStoreteamsandourService Deskteam,you willbe responsible forthe creation and upkeep ofdocumentation, assetmanagementand drive process improvements.
We’verecently embarked ona technologytransformation and as a result,you’llhave the opportunity to be involved in transformation projects with exposure to some of the latest technologies in the market. You will gain the tech exposure and experience that will set you up for your career as you get to work with systems such asMicrosoftEntra, AWS/Cloudmigrationand SCCM across new store rollouts.
What you will bring:
We are looking for a passionateindividual,with strong prioritization and planning skills.Someone who can adapt and work simultaneously on projects,dutiesand tasks to guaranteetimelyresolution for the business and a positive customer experience.You will have the ability to work with Services Desk,RetailStores,and other departments to fulfil their needsand have experience managing external vendors.As a jack of all trades, you will be inquisitive, eager to ask questions as well ascommunicationyour concerns.
Youwill also beable todemonstrate
Experience and knowledge of Microsoft operating systems including Windows Server and Desktop
Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) hardware and software
Knowledge of MAC/IOS systems will be highly regarded
Project Management experience
Problem solving, analytics and reporting skills
The ability to cope with ambiguity
Proactive approach to working autonomously
The ability toeffectively communicate relevant issues and findings to the business
