About us

HammondCare provides expert aged care, home care, dementia care and palliative care for older people, regardless of circumstances, beliefs, background or financial situation. We are led by our not-for-profit, Christian foundations and backed by research and clinical expertise.

When it comes to our people - those we serve and those who serve - we are committed to inclusion across race, culture, ethnicity, gender, sex, sexuality, religion and ability. In our innovative residences, our hospitals, or in client homes, we aim to set the global standard of relationship-based care for older people with complex needs.

We've been caring for people for over 90 years - so, if you love to care, join us, and make a career move that matters.

It’s not just care. It’s HammondCare.

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months at St Leonards with hybrid opportunities.

The Role

At HammondCare, technology isn't just about systems. It's about helping our people deliver better outcomes for the older Australians, families and communities we serve. As we execute an ambitious technology transformation agenda, we're looking for an experienced Technology Change Manager to help ensure our people are ready, supported and empowered to embrace change.

This is a unique opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of initiatives including digital transformation, platform modernisation, data and analytics, AI-enabled solutions and process improvement programs.

You'll be responsible for leading the people side of change across HammondCare's technology portfolio. Working closely with senior leaders, project teams, product owners and operational stakeholders, you'll develop strategies that build awareness, readiness, capability and adoption while ensuring technology investments deliver meaningful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Lead technology adoption and business readiness activities across HammondCare's technology transformation portfolio, ensuring new platforms, digital capabilities and ways of working are successfully embedded.

  • Partner with technology delivery teams, product owners and business stakeholders to prepare operational teams for technology change and minimise implementation risk.

  • Develop and maintain HammondCare's Technology Change Framework, including standards, governance, adoption measures and implementation practices.

  • Coordinate technology communications, user engagement, training and transition activities associated with system implementations and enhancements

  • Assess technology change impacts, business readiness and adoption risks across multiple concurrent initiatives and releases.

  • Support operational leaders to adopt new technology, digital processes, reporting capabilities and self-service tools.

  • Monitor and report on technology adoption, user experience, business readiness, realisation of benefits and continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Establish a coordinated view of technology change across the portfolio to optimise release planning, adoption outcomes and organisational capacity.

What we can offer you

We care about your wellbeing at HammondCare and as a result offer a wide range of health and lifestyle benefits including:

  • NFP salary packaging ($15,900 tax free) plus meals and entertainment benefit (up to $2,650 tax free)

  • Additional leave purchase options and 14 weeks paid parental leave

  • Flexible working options, including hybrid arrangements

  • Discounts on everyday products and services

  • Discounted healthcare memberships - access to network of fitness centres and pools for employees and families

  • Free access to independent counselling support for employees and families

  • Health & Wellbeing programmes

  • Reward & Recognition programmes

  • Referral bonuses

  • Career and professional development opportunities

About You

  • At least 5 years demonstrated experience leading technology change, business readiness and adoption activities across complex technology transformation programs.

  • Prosci, ADKAR, Agile, SAFe or equivalent change or delivery certification.

  • Experience supporting enterprise-wide technology initiatives, including digital transformation, platform implementations, data and analytics, cloud, cyber security or AI-enabled solutions.

  • Experience implementing Microsoft, Salesforce, ERP, CRM, Data & Analytics or AI solutions.

  • Strong understanding of technology delivery lifecycles, including Agile, product-based delivery and iterative release management.
