
The Data and Digital team works in partnership across major global business functions to establish and implement an overarching digital strategy for Pharma Technical Development. As our new Technology Business Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in advancing AI-powered digital solutions to transform the organization that develops the Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMCs) for our robust pipeline. You will bridge the gap between intricate scientific challenges and transformative technologies, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to accelerate our development timelines and deliver impactful solutions for patients.
Serving as the Global Product Owner for technologies used to accelerate CMC development timelines by deploying innovative GenAI and AgenticAI solutions.
Translating complex business use cases into standardized technical requirements, leveraging modern trends in AI product development, including AgenticAI and MCP (Model Context Protocol) for linking solutions.
Driving the product vision, roadmap, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), while managing system enhancement features and backlogs.
Collaborating deeply across cross-functional teams of scientists, engineers, product delivery teams, and portfolio groups to ensure high-quality, innovative solutions are defined and implemented.
Providing global subject matter expertise to influence and direct future innovation through interdepartmental and industry collaborations, achieving increased efficiency and compliance.
You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Science, Computer Science, or a related field, alongside 7+ years of experience in technology, systems, and platform management preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
You possess a deep understanding of digital product ownership and project management , underpinned by experience driving the Software Development Lifecycle.
You bring domain expertise in current AI product development trends (such as AgenticAI and MCP) and have a strong familiarity with pharmaceutical development or CMCs.
You are a collaborative, open-minded communicator who values learning, thoughtfully challenges ideas, and thrives when partnering with both technical and non-technical audiences in a dynamic global environment.
Relocation benefits are not available for this posting.
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA, is $112,700 to $209,300. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
