
ABOUT THE POSITION
Our Distribution Centers utilize state-of-the-art technology and a dedicated team to provide Columbia Sportswear Company a competitive advantage in distribution. Teams are responsible for shipping millions of units of apparel, footwear, and equipment annually within the family of brands. Accurate order fulfillment and on-time shipments are the hallmarks of our facility.
As a Technology Analyst II, you will have an opportunity to support and maintain the software and hardware integral to the Distribution Center environment. This role performs configuration, setup, and updates of the applications and hardware in the Distribution Centre. May train end users on basic processes.
*This position will be onsite at our Robards, Kentucky location Monday – Friday; hours to be determined.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Troubleshoots routine software and hardware issues with little to no guidance. Diagnoses issues as bugs, broken equipment, or having procedural origin. Resolves most recurring issues in Desktop Support, Reporting, and Equipment, often seeking assistance from the manager or colleagues on the team. Familiarity with DC processes, and in house Distribution Technology. Deploys known hardware independently. Understands basic principles of Warehouse Controls Systems, messaging, and infrastructure. Develops end-user training materials and deploy training.
Configures, tests, and supports a platform or application to deliver business value. Starts to build subject matter knowledge for a domain or capability area or single application. Adheres to team and application standards where applicable.
Participates in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-up, backlog refinement, planning, reviews/demos, and retrospectives. Helps drive collaboration within the team through participation in practices such as pair programming.
Helps refine the team's backlog. Partners with teammates and the product owner to break down work into reasonable sizes that can be accomplished in a single iteration. Ensures stories have clearly understood value and defined acceptance criteria. Helps inform delivery estimates (story points). Seeks to understand prioritization and sequencing decisions. Seeks to understand key dependencies.
Ensures new features and functions are tested thoroughly. Helps team troubleshoot and fixes bugs where applicable.
Monitors and observes health, availability, and performance of software in production to provide appropriate application support.
Performs other duties as assigned.

YOU HAVE
Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience.
Typically requires 2 - 4 years of professional experience where knowledge base is generally acquired from a college degree or equivalent course experience.
Experience in a distribution environment a plus.
Advanced working knowledge of PC’s, networks, mid-range computer operations, radio frequency equipment, (Microsoft software (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, Crystal Reports and Visio), servers.
Basic understanding of AS/400 and interfaces to other systems and devices (i.e. scanners and PC applications).
Basic understanding of material handling equipment interfaces and servers.
Possess well-developed analytical/troubleshooting skills along with the ability to translate technical concepts in order to create innovative solutions.
