Salary Range: $65,000.00 SalaryThe Technology Administrator is responsible for the ongoing administration, support, and continuous improvement of Hope House Foundation’s technology systems across multiple locations. This role independently manages day‑to‑day technology operations, ensures system reliability and security, and supports organizational efficiency through effective use of IT systems and tools.
The position requires the use of independent judgment and discretion in coordinating technology support, maintaining systems, resolving technical issues, and advising leadership on technology needs. The Technology Administrator plans and prioritizes work, supports agency operations through systems administration, and coordinates with external technology vendors. While advanced technical skills may be developed over time, the position exercises professional judgment in managing assigned technology functions.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Technology Administration and Support
Provide primary oversight and administration of day‑to‑day technology operations for multiple agency locations. Independently diagnose, resolve, and manage technology issues affecting systems, equipment, and user access. Serve as a subject‑matter resource for staff regarding effective use of technology tools and systems. Support remote and hybrid work environments by ensuring appropriate system access and connectivity.
Systems and Equipment Management
Administer and maintain agency computers, mobile devices, and related technology equipment. Plan and coordinate installation, upgrades, replacements, and lifecycle management of hardware and software. Maintain accurate records of technology assets, licensing, and configuration standards. Ensure continued functionality of printers, copiers, phone systems, and audio or visual equipment.
User Accounts and Security Access
Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls for email, phone systems, and other agency platforms. Apply established security standards and exercise judgment when granting or modifying system access. Monitor account activities and address access issues to maintain system integrity and data protection.
Vendor and Service Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for technology vendors and service providers. Evaluate service needs, coordinate repairs and support services, and manage routine vendor interactions. Assist leadership with technology purchasing, licensing decisions, service renewals, and basic contract tracking. Maintain documentation related to vendor services and system support.
Network and Systems Oversight
Provide administrative support for agency network connectivity and internal systems. Assist with monitoring system performance, updates, backups, and cloud‑based platforms such as Microsoft 365. Identify recurring issues or system inefficiencies and recommend improvements to leadership.
Professional Expectations
Independently organize and prioritize work to meet operational needs and deadlines. Represent Hope House Foundation in a professional, respectful, and ethical manner. Use discretion when handling confidential information and adhere to all agency policies and the Employee Code of Ethics. Attend meetings, trainings, and agency events as required. Use a personal vehicle for local travel as needed, with mileage reimbursement provided. Perform other related duties consistent with the administrative and professional nature of the role.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED)
Experience managing multi site IT systems and infrastructure. Basic experience supporting computers, software, or technology systems in a work or education setting. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper V, Azure AD or Entra ID, and Microsoft 365. Ability to troubleshoot common hardware, software, and user issues. Working knowledge of personal computers and standard office applications. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work as part of a team. Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills with the ability to support users of varying technical levels.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NOT REQUIRED)
The following skills are helpful but may be learned on the job. Advanced experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper V, Azure AD or Entra ID, and Microsoft 365. Experience with networking concepts including firewalls, VPNs, switches, and wireless systems. Experience supporting cybersecurity tools, MFA, endpoint management, and cloud environments. Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, network, and cloud systems. Experience coordinating with technology vendors or service providers. Seven to ten years of related IT experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds. Occasional travel between agency locations may be required.
