Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist

Location: Brownwood, TX
Salary: $53,000 - $60,000 per year
Sign-On Bonus: $6,000
Relocation Assistance: $5,000 for applicants relocating 200+ miles away
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join our Radiology team. In this role, you will operate diagnostic x-ray and fluoroscopic equipment to assist Radiologists and physicians in diagnosing and treating injuries and illnesses. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience, a strong understanding of radiologic technology, and a commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic x-ray and fluoroscopic procedures as per physician orders.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment.
• Use PACS and RIS software to manage imaging and patient records efficiently.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during all procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot radiologic equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements

• Education: Completion of an Accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License.
  • ARRT certification.
  • BLS Healthcare CPR certification.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in operating digital radiologic equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of PACS and RIS software.
  • Ability to perform diagnostic radiographs with precision.
