Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to bridge client's functional and technical requirements at the module level by assisting in outlining technical specifications, performing basic configuration, and troubleshooting initial system issues.

Areas of Responsibility

Requirement Gathering-Understand the functional requirements and assist in translating these into technical specifications.

Configuration and Customisation-"Assist in performing coding, configuration, and minor customisations as per defined design and development standards."

Technology Harmonisation-Support integration testing by validating interface behaviour and identifying basic issues.

Troubleshooting and optimisation-Support troubleshooting activities and help resolve basic technical issues related to performance or configuration of a specific module.

Documentation-Assist in preparing user documentation, configuration notes, and testing artefacts for a specific module.

Role: GCP Platform Engineer

About the Role: We are looking for a Senior GCP Platform Engineer to design, automate, and secure our expanding Google Cloud infrastructure. You will be the driving force behind our cloud operations, bridging the gap between core infrastructure, hybrid networking, and cutting-edge GenAI deployments. You will not just be keeping the lights on; you will be architecting automated pipelines, securing our GitHub organization, and empowering our teams to leverage Gemini Enterprise apps at scale.

What You Will Do

• Infrastructure & Automation: Provision, and manage GCP environments using Terraform based IAC code.
• GenAI Platform Operations: Manage and extract insights from our fleet of Vertex AI Agent Builder and Discovery Engine assets, building the infrastructure that supports our internal AI agents.
• Data & Observability: Maintain secure data pipelines and external tables in BigQuery and Cloud Storage to feed internal dashboards via Looker Studio and integration with Grafana Cloud.
• Secure CI/CD: Architect and secure our GitHub SaaS platform. Implement self-hosted ephemeral runners (ARC), mandate OIDC for cloud authentication, and enforce strict branch protections and secret scanning.
• Identity & Security: Implement least-privilege IAM policies, manage Service Account impersonation, and troubleshoot complex cross-service permission boundaries.

What We Are Looking For

• Deep GCP Expertise: Extensive experience managing enterprise Google Cloud environments, specifically around complex IAM roles, VPC networking, and Private Service Access.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Fluent in Terraform and highly proficient in writing robust, defensive Bash and Python scripts for automation and API interaction.
• CI/CD & GitHub Mastery: Proven experience administering GitHub Organizations, building GitHub Actions workflows, and securing CI/CD supply chains.
• API & Data Proficiency: Comfortable interacting with beta/alpha REST APIs (like Dialogflow CX or Discovery Engine) using curl and jq, alongside solid working knowledge of BigQuery and GCS.
• Hybrid Networking Knowledge: Familiarity with BGP, IPsec, and hybrid cloud connectivity models (AWS Virtual Private Gateways, Direct Connect) is a strong plus.
• AWS Familiarity: Good to have understanding of AWS.
