Job Purpose: This role is responsible for managing the collection, analysis, and reporting of operational data from all sites to support decision-making and performance monitoring. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong coordination skills, and proficiency in data analytics to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of reports to internal stakeholders and management.

Lead - MIS and Performance

Data Collection and Issue Management:

Collect relevant information and data from all sites, ensuring completeness and accuracy, particularly focusing on daily generation parameters such as load factor and unit availability.

Address any data unavailability issues promptly by manually collecting data when necessary.

Prepare consolidated reports for energy and daily generation, coordinating with other business units such as renewables and transmission.

Provide information on live hot issues, such as unit trips or major maintenance activities, to the team lead for timely resolution.

Fill data in various Excel formats, including sensitive information on power sales, coal reports, and water stock.

Follow up with sites to ensure data availability and resolve any issues promptly.

Alerts and Data Collation:

Collect information on important alerts from the APM (Asset Performance Monitoring) team and provide it to the team lead for morning meetings.

Collate data related to coal from all sites, including stock availability and quality maintenance, and share it with the team lead.

Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare station heat rate reports from coal analysis data for all units on a daily basis.

Generate MIS-related data, including year-on-year comparisons and ad hoc reports, as required.

Take guidance from the team lead in case of MIS-related issues or doubts.

Meeting Management and Documentation:

Prepare minutes of daily planning meetings from all sites and distribute them to relevant stakeholders.

Act as a backup for the coal meeting endorsed by the ENDORSE team in the head office.

Ensure timely dissemination of minutes of meetings to track open points and facilitate issue resolution.

Provide necessary information and data to the team lead for the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports.
