Technique & Multimedia Officer (m/f/d)
(full-time; 38.5 hrs./week; limited; 6 months)
You will support the Constructor Studios & Media Production department with the setup, operation, and maintenance of audiovisual and IT equipment across campus. The role includes event-based AV support, routine maintenance of learning space systems, multimedia assistance for CSM offices, and on-duty availability during scheduled shifts.
Your Responsibilities:
Support the setup and operation of audio, video, and IT equipment for non-hybrid and hybrid events
Assist with campus-wide maintenance of learning space audiovisual systems
Provide multimedia-related support to CSM offices
Serve as the student-on-duty during scheduled shifts, assisting with basic AV and media support requests
Set up and operate audiovisual equipment for events and presentations
Maintain and troubleshoot multimedia equipment on campus
Your Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with Blackmagic Design ATEM systems
Proficient in camera operation, including Panasonic PTZ cameras
Strong understanding of signal flow, including SDI, HDMI, signal conversion, and routing
Experience with hardware encoders such as Blackmagic, Magewell, or equivalent systems
Knowledge of analog and digital mixing consoles, including Midas M32 and Yamaha systems
Experience operating wireless microphone systems, particularly Sennheiser
Familiarity with control systems including Q-SYS, Extron, AMX, and Kramer
Proficient in supporting and operating Zoom and Microsoft Teams environments
Experience working with projectors, monitors, and TV display systems
