Technicien(ne) en environnementSous la supervision du gestionnaire SSE/Environnement, le ou la technicien(ne) en environnement participe à la mise en œuvre des programmes environnementaux du site. Il ou elle assure le suivi des exigences réglementaires, effectue des inspections de terrain, collecte des données environnementales et contribue à la prévention des impacts environnementaux liés aux activités de l'entreprise.

What You Will Be Working On

Principales responsabilités

  • Effectuer des inspections environnementales sur le terrain et documenter les observations.
  • Réaliser le suivi des permis, des certificats d'autorisation et des obligations réglementaires applicables.
  • Participer aux programmes de surveillance environnementale (eaux, sols, matières résiduelles, poussières, bruit, etc.).
  • Effectuer l'échantillonnage environnemental conformément aux procédures établies.
  • Compiler, analyser et saisir les données environnementales dans les systèmes de gestion.
  • Participer aux enquêtes liées aux incidents ou non-conformités environnementales.
  • Assurer le suivi des actions correctives et préventives.
  • Contribuer à la gestion des matières résiduelles et dangereuses.
  • Préparer des rapports, indicateurs de performance et tableaux de bord environnementaux.
  • Soutenir les équipes opérationnelles dans l'application des bonnes pratiques environnementales.
  • Participer aux audits internes et aux inspections réglementaires.
  • Contribuer à la sensibilisation et à la formation des travailleurs en matière d'environnement.
  • Collaborer avec les différents départements afin d'assurer la conformité environnementale du site.

Qualifications requises

· Expérience pertinente dans un environnement industriel, minier ou de construction (atout).

· Connaissance de la réglementation environnementale applicable au Québec.

· Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

· Permis de conduire valide.

· Disponibilité à travailler sur le terrain.

  • Sens de l'observation et rigueur.
  • Esprit d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication.
  • Autonomie et sens de l'organisation.
  • Capacité à travailler en équipe multidisciplinaire.
  • Gestion des priorités et respect des échéanciers.
  • Lieu de travail: chantier à baraquement dans le Nord du Québec, sur une rotation de travail de 14-14.

Atouts

  • Expérience dans le secteur minier ou de la construction.
  • Connaissance des normes ISO 14001.
  • Formation sur l'échantillonnage environnemental.
  • Expérience avec les systèmes de gestion environnementale.
