Tesla Motors is looking for a Seasonal Tire Technician to contribute to the work on one of the most progressive vehicles in the world! This role involves customer and employee interaction, necessitating not only technical expertise but also a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role entails supporting the service centre on tire related work, as directed.

What You’ll Do

  • Effectuer des inspections, des réparations et des services de niveau apprenti sur les véhicules électriques Tesla
  • Utiliser une variété d’outils manuels, électriques et d’atelier
  • Tenir des registres du temps, des dépenses, des matériaux et de la propreté des véhicules
  • Gérer efficacement plusieurs priorités, organiser la charge de travail et respecter les échéanciers
  • Nettoyer les véhicules (lavage et petits travaux d’esthétique) et assurer l’entretien de l’atelier
  • Livrer les véhicules aux clients après le service
  • Effectuer toute autre tâche assignée selon les besoins de l’entreprise
  • Performs apprentice-level inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles
  • Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
  • Maintain records of time, expenses, materials, and cleanliness of vehicles
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
  • Vehicle cleaning (washing and minor detailing) and shop management
  • Deliver vehicles to customers following service
  • Other duties as assigned to meet business needs

What You’ll Bring

  • Connaissance des méthodes et techniques d’entretien et de remplacement des pneus (formation automobile pertinente un atout)
  • Expérience pratique du montage, de l’équilibrage et de la réparation de pneus
  • Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite, et capacité à suivre les consignes
  • Capacité à établir et à maintenir des relations de travail collaboratives avec les personnes rencontrées dans le cadre des fonctions, y compris le public et diverses parties prenantes internes
  • Capacité à s’adapter à de nouveaux systèmes, processus et à un environnement de travail dynamique
  • Détenir et maintenir un permis de conduire valide de classe 5, G ou G2
  • Disponibilité à travailler en soirée, les fins de semaine et les jours fériés au besoin
  • Le candidat retenu pour le poste devra soutenir des projets dans toutes les provinces canadiennes et communiquer quotidiennement principalement en anglais avec le personnel et les clients hors du Québec
  • Knowledge of methods and techniques in the maintenance and replacement of tires (applicable automative training preferred)
  • Hands on experience mounting and balancing tires and tire repair
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including public and multiple internal stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt to new systems, processes, and dynamic work environment
  • Must possess and maintain a valid class 5, G, or G2 driver's license
  • Ability to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays if required
  • The successful candidate will be required to support projects in all Canadian provinces and communicate daily primarily in English with staff and clients outside of Quebec

Compensation and Benefits

Expected Compensation

  • Seasonal Tire Technician - $23.10 - $23.10/hour

+ benefits for all levels

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
