The function of the Preset Tooling Driver is to pick up and deliver cutting tools and holders to and from the machine shops and the Preset Tooling Department (using a special built golf cart).

Job Responsibilities

•Reviews TOS (Tool Ordering System) and advises Preset personnel of Expedite and Emergency tool orders
•Takes direction from Preset personnel as to priorities to pick up and deliver.
•Uses computer to access and print Tool sheets of tools to be picked up.
•Carefully places sharp cutting tools in order, in golf cart for deliveries.
•Adds labeling cards (Green and Red) to identify tool cart status.
•Pulls necessary tools from vending machines to fulfill orders.
•Communicates well with Peers and Management the obstacles to performing tasks in troubled areas of the factory.
•Maintains a clean and organized golf cart.
•Maintains a clean and safe work space.
•Works well as a team player in a fast paced environment.

Job Qualifications

•Must be available Mon-Thu 3:15p-1:45am as this is a 2nd shift schedule.
•Must be US Citizen due to ITAR compliance.
•Basic math.
•Basic computer skills.
•Able to drive a long wheel base golf cart safely throughout facility.
•Mechanical aptitude.
•Good attitude.
•Excellent Attendance record.
