Job Description

At AGC Biologics in Søborg, manufacturing is where innovation becomes real treatments for patients worldwide. Our downstream production teams play a key role in this journey by purifying biologic products and preparing the critical solutions that enable safe and reliable production.

As a Technician/ Senior Technician in Downstream/ Buffer Preparation, you will become part of our SYD22 facility, a modern production area currently in ramp-up mode. Here, you will work hands-on with advanced manufacturing processes that support preclinical, clinical, and commercial production for international biotech partners.

Your work will contribute directly to ensuring that complex biologic processes run smoothly and that therapies can move safely from manufacturing to patients.

A Role at the Center of Modern Biopharmaceutical Production

In this role, you will be closely involved in the daily execution of manufacturing activities in a regulated GMP environment. You will help plan and perform selected steps in the downstream production process while ensuring that documentation and procedures are followed with the highest level of accuracy.

A typical week may involve preparing buffers according to defined recipes, supporting purification activities, and documenting production steps in batch records. You will collaborate with colleagues across the production organization to ensure smooth operations and reliable delivery of material to the next stages of manufacturing.

Beyond daily operations, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support troubleshooting of production challenges together with colleagues from QA, QC, Process Engineering, and Manufacturing Product Support. You will also participate in onboarding new technicians while continuing to build your own technical expertise in downstream processing.

A Team Built on Collaboration and Professional Pride

You will join a team of technicians and scientists who work in a professional and supportive environment where collaboration and accountability are key.

The team works closely with colleagues across the organization and shares a strong commitment to quality, safety, and compliance. Knowledge sharing is part of everyday work, and employees are encouraged to contribute ideas that improve processes and strengthen production performance.

Working in SYD22 also means being part of an exciting facility ramp-up, where new processes, technologies, and ways of working are continuously being implemented.

What Will Help You Succeed

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a structured and quality-focused manufacturing environment and who takes pride in contributing to reliable production.

You likely have:

  • A technical background as Process Operator, Process Technologist, Industrial Operator, or similar
  • Experience from biopharmaceutical manufacturing or other GMP-regulated production environments
  • Hands-on experience with chromatography systems such as ÄKTA Ready or ÄKTA Process
  • Experience preparing buffers and solutions according to production records
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate clearly in English

Experience with LEAN, 5S, or continuous improvement initiatives will be considered an advantage.

Just as important, you are someone who approaches new tasks with curiosity, takes responsibility for your work, and contributes positively to the team environment.
