The mission of the Technician (Security/ELV System) is to support the installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of security and ELV systems while ensuring all work is completed to approved engineering specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Responsibilities
The Technician (Security/ELV System) carries out and supports site-based technical activities including:
Carrying out equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting as per approved drawings or engineering specifications
Performing routine maintenance, breakdown support, and repair works for Security Systems such as CCTV, Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems, PIDS, Barrier Gates, and related ELV systems
Conducting pre-installation site readiness checks, material inspections, and hardware verification
Liaising with Local Service Partners (LSP) on work sequencing, manpower planning, quality of work, and material usage
Attending site coordination meetings and inspections, and preparing daily reports
Monitoring site progress during installation and Testing & Commissioning (T&C) phases
Preparing project-related documentation such as site diary, progress reports, drawings, checklists, and operation manuals
Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an ELV Technician or in a similar role
Strong understanding of Security System and ELV processes, principles, and products
Extensive hands-on experience with various ELV Systems such as CCTV, Access Control, PA systems, and more
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
Ability to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Willingness to travel as required
