Job Description
We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our high performing team in Wetherill Park, NSW.
In this role, you will overhaul, repair and service a variety of mid-range and high horse-power rail engines in a service workshop under supervision
You will make an impact in the following ways:
- Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products
- Diagnose and repair engines
- Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and /or engine components
- Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
- Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
- Assist with completion required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens
- Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor
Additional Information:
- Full Time / 38 hours per week
- Day Shift (06:30 – 14:36)
- Saturdays available
- Overtime as required – Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours
- All your Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms are provided and laundered
- Domestic Relocation from across Australia may be offered for the right candidate
- Local Valid Drivers License
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Cert III) or equivalent
- Basic level of workshop or field service experience required
- Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
- Heavy Vehicle Experience preferred
- Diagnostic and troubleshooting experience preferred
- HR License preferred
- Must be certified to work in NSW
