Job Description


Perform functions such as operating the washer, dryer, ironer, folders. Sorts and loads soiled linen in wahsers. May be asked to load clean linen on linen exchange carts under the direction of the Laundry Supervisor. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Sorts soiled linen and places into 400 and 150 lbs. washers.
  • Removes linen from washer and places in dryer.
  • Removes linen from dryers, then runs through ironer or sends to folding area.
  • Operates towel folding machine.
  • Folds linen and loads exchange carts.
  • Completes assisgned goals.

Experience

Minimum Required

  • 2 years experience in work force.

Education

Minimum Required

  • Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.

  • Knowledge of laundry equipment.
