The Position

The Technician III – Cover Knife is responsible for cutting covers for jobs.

Key Responsibilities

• Check product to job.
• Cut covers for the jobs that need special attention.
• Make sure covers are stacked correctly.
• Cut same size/material jobs when possible.
• Make stamping operator aware of any rush jobs.
• Maintains understanding of the operating procedure in the department.
• Adheres to safe work practice as indicated in the policy manual.
• Maintains a clean, safe and well-organized work area.

Skills and Knowledge

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills.
• Must be able to work well independently or with others.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 months experience as a Technician III
• Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs
• Must be able to use dollies and move pallets.
