What you will do:
The Facilities Technician II works with minimal supervision to maintain and improve facility infrastructure, equipment, and building systems within a regulated medical environment. This role is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs to ensure a safe, functional, and compliant workplace.
You will play a key role in supporting daily operations by maintaining critical systems, responding to facility needs, and ensuring adherence to safety and healthcare standards.
Main Responsibilities:
•Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.•Execute preventive maintenance programs for building equipment, including emergency power and critical systems.•Respond to facility service requests promptly while following safety and infection control procedures.•Install, maintain, and repair facility infrastructure and specialized equipment.•Ensure compliance with safety regulations, healthcare standards, and company policies.•Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and compliance documentation.•Coordinate and oversee external vendors and contractors working on-site.•Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
What you need:
•Technical diploma, vocational degree, or equivalent experience in Facilities, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.•4–5 years of experience in facilities and equipment maintenance.•Experience inbuilding maintenance , including HVAC, air conditioning (AC), and chiller systems•Experience in regulated, healthcare, or medical device environments (preferred).•Hands-on experience with building systems, troubleshooting, and performing repairs.Travel Percentage: None
