Job Description

At Six Flags Qiddiya City, The Technician II - Entertainment & Events works closely with Supervisor - Entertainment & Events to ensure the seamless operation of all live entertainment and events within the park. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our entertainment and events facilities. You will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting various technical equipment and systems to deliver exceptional experiences to our guests.

Job Responsibilities:

Operations:

▪ Support the team under the department of Entertainment & Events, ensuring operational readiness, put measures in place to mediate technical down

times, expediate troubleshooting and fix issues efficiently.​

▪ Ensure the teams’ compliance with local laws and guidelines and enforce all park policies and procedures.​

▪ Participate and assist in meetings and production update sessions, monitor team performance, allocate resources effectively, and participate in the development of entertainment and events to enhance the guest experience.​

▪ Set up, operate, and troubleshoot audio, lighting, and visual equipment for concerts, performances, and other events.

▪ Collaborate with the Entertainment & Events team to ensure all technical requirements are met for each event and performance.

▪ Perform routine maintenance and repairs on technical equipment to maintain optimal performance.

▪ Monitor and respond to any technical issues or malfunctions during events, ensuring minimal disruption to the guest experience.

▪ Assist in the installation and integration of new equipment and systems as needed.

▪ Maintain an organized inventory of technical equipment and supplies.

▪ Follow safety protocols and ensure all equipment is operated in accordance with established guidelines.

▪ Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education

High school/Diploma or above.

Experience

A minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in the Middle East and/or international markets, with demonstrated expertise in theme parks, cruise lines, or in the fields of entertainment, theatre, show, or event production

Skills

  • Strong motivational, leadership, and team building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • An ability to accomplish goals through motivation and delegation, as well as through established systems.
  • Good organizational skills, creative, outgoing, detail oriented, and self-motivator.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • The ability to work in a dynamic environment with teams ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of sound, lighting, and visual systems.
