Qualifications

1. English level >50%
2. Associate technical degree in related field (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, other) from a Technical Institute (i.e., INA).
3. Enrolled and active student in a discipline related to Engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Chemical, or related).
4. Good written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English

Desired Qualifications

1. Experience as a technician in the medical device industry desired.
2. Computer skills, including MS Excel, Word, Microsoft Project, Minitab.
3. AutoCad or SolidWorks.
4. Knowledge of good laboratory practices.
5. Electric/electronic and pneumatics knowledge, automation systems.
6. Knowledge of statistics.
7. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices.
8. Able to work under pressure and with different types of people and personalities.

Physical

• Extended periods of laboratory equipment use.
• Extended periods of standing or sitting.
• Light Lifting, up to 25 lbs.
• May be required within the position to be in an environment that can include radiation exposure (such as in Cathlabs).
