Job Description

Air Liquide Singapore Private Limited (ALSg), the largest and leading industrial gas company in South-east Asia, employs 800 people recognized for their high level of expertise to provide gases, equipment, services and packaged solutions to support the requirements of the Singapore manufacturing industry.

You will provide technical and maintenance support for gas systems and equipment like manifolds, tanks, and valves while assisting engineers with site execution and emergency breakdowns. The role also involves optimizing spare parts inventory, improving standard procedures, and performing root cause analysis for equipment failures while ensuring strict safety and permit-to-work compliance.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

• Support and provide technical/maintenance support to PAG onsite facilities and commercial team that includes the following equipment: Skid tank, LGC, gas manifold system, regulator, safety valves, valves & fittings, piping, tubing, etc. The technician assist engineer for any site execution and solves problems, interacts and develops constructive relationships with customers, site facilities managers, business unit leaders, contractors and external vendors.
• Support and assist GMS engineer, PAG commercial team and customer site to deal with unexpected emergencies and breakdown.
• Contribute knowledge and provide constructive practice and ideals to improve and enhance SOPs.
• Support continuous improvement with FMEA, root causes analysis for failure of mechanical/ rotating equipment, delay, rework, CAR and MOC.
• Maximizing and optimizing critical spare part utilization and stock up inventory.
• Compliance with AL IMS, internal and external customers safety requirements & permit-to-work system when performing on-site works at site. This inclusive of 3rd party subcontractors or service providers who is engaged by IM-PAG.
• Submit monthly maintenance report on LGC to supervisor.

Are you a MATCH?

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a plant production environment.
• Basic understanding of automation systems, such as auto-changeover manifolds (on-the-job training provided).
• Proficiency in basic computer applications for data entry and reporting.
