We're seeking talented individuals to help us grow in the rapidly expanding utility industry. Since 2003, we've led the way in advanced field services and solutions, empowering utilities to maximize their infrastructure investments. Our mission is to enhance the safety, sustainability, and reliability of the nation's energy assets and natural resources. At Hydromax USA, you'll work with smart, passionate people to solve complex problems using innovative solutions. Together, we'll create a digital environment that modernizes and improves utility operations. Join us in making the world a better place by understanding the present and protecting the future.
As a Technician you will learn to support the operation of advanced robotic CCTV inspection systems and specialized field equipment used to identify and prevent underground utility cross bores – hazardous intersections between utility lines. This critical work plays a key role in protecting public safety and maintaining the integrity of essential infrastructure.
Working under the guidance of experienced field personnel and reporting directly to the Field Operations Manager, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience while developing in-demand technical skills. This entry-level field role offers a strong opportunity for career growth within the utility industry. Motivated technicians often move quickly into crew lead roles and beyond.

Qualifications: Work Environment Considerations
This role involves working along busy streets, highways, and residential roads, often in high-traffic areas. Crews must follow strict safety protocols and be aware of roadside hazards. Some sites may include embankments, uneven terrain, or wet conditions. Expect outdoor challenges and changing weather conditions. This means adapting to high heat, humidity, sudden storms, and cold temperatures. PPE such as rain jackets, hard hats, sun wear/sunscreen/cooling items, shirts/pants/hoodies and footwear will be provided to safely navigate these environmental challenges. Work shall not occur in unsafe environments, and all employees may exercise their Stop Work Obligation at any time.
Hydromax USA Vaccination Requirement
This position requires compliance with Hydromax USA’s vaccination safety program due to potential exposure-related health risks. New hires must either provide documentation of previously completed required vaccinations or complete the required vaccinations within the first 30 days of employment.
Required vaccinations include Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A, and TDAP/Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Acellular Pertussis).
Because all field personnel may be required to operate company or DOT-regulated vehicles at any time, maintaining driver eligibility is mandatory. A valid driver’s license and obtaining a medical clearance to drive DOT-regulated vehicles (DOT Medical Certification) is considered an essential function of employment in field operations. Employees must obtain this medical certification within 90 days of hire and maintain it as a condition of continued employment. Failure to obtain or maintain driver eligibility or medical clearance may affect employment status and/or eligibility for certain job assignments, unless given a Human Resources accommodation.
