Job Description Summary
Receives, maintains and distributes manufactured supplies for specific hospital departments. Performs transactions and captures patient charges, keeping inventory counts accurate. Works independently with minimal supervision and follows established routines. Provides professional, helpful and respectful customer service.
Essential Functions:
Retrieves supplies from other hospital organizations or FHS campuses when needed. This includes correctly filling out required documentation, using markup when appropriate and expensing supplies to the appropriate accounts.
Rotates supplies according to CS procedure, improving cleanliness and reducing expired supplies.
Maintains specialty carts, par carts or procedure trays. This includes filling out all paperwork appropriately, keeping par carts neat and accurate, reducing overstock, and charging or expensing appropriately.
Operates all departmental computer software and hardware required of the position. This includes navigation and the ability to interpret fields on Meditech applications.
Performs accurate inventory transactions and/or maintain records.
Receives and distributes hospital supplies.
