Job Description

Job Identification

We are looking for a Health & Safety Technician in Namangan, Uzbekistan

What We Expect

  • Ensure compliance with occupational health & safety, fire safety, and environmental requirements across the company.
  • Conduct regular inspections of workplaces, equipment, buildings, and facilities to ensure safe working conditions.
  • Organize and deliver HSE trainings, inductions, and knowledge assessments for employees.
  • Develop and implement internal policies, procedures, and documentation related to occupational safety.
  • Monitor workplace risks and participate in hazard identification and risk assessment activities.Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and preventive action plans.
  • Coordinate medical examinations and monitor their timely completion.
  • Support certification and assessment of workplaces in compliance with safety standards.
  • Ensure proper functioning and control of fire safety systems, equipment, and emergency response readiness.
  • Maintain HSE documentation, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with local legislation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external contractors on safety-related matters.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Higher education in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in HSE or similar role.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of occupational health & safety regulations and standards.
  • Understanding of fire safety systems, workplace risk assessment, and incident investigation.
  • Ability to deliver training and communicate effectively with employees.
  • High level of responsibility, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional

  • Knowledge of Uzbek, Russian, English level: Pre‑Intermediate (ability to read basic technical documentation).
  • Good computer skills (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook).
