Technician, Data Network Analysis:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail focused Public Transport Technician to support the Passenger Transport team in the management and delivery of accurate bus service provision across Fife.

In this role, you will support the planning and management of the local bus network through detailed analysis of data using several software packages. You will collect and interpret financial, operational and performance data to create Power BI dashboards to help monitor service trends and support decision making of Fife Councils supported services. You will assess service registrations and analyse how network changes affect coverage and accessibility to the public transport network. You will produce reports using transport planning software tools to inform changes to the current supported bus network.

The role involves working closely with bus operators, internal teams and external partners to manage information on diversions, roadworks and service changes, ensuring accurate and up to date public transport information.
